Beth has a background in sport and exercise, both competitively and for pleasure, which started at a young age and includes Badminton, Basketball, Hiking, Hockey,  Rock Climbing, Sailing, Snowboarding, Swimming, and Walking.

An injury at a young age ignited an interest in sports injury management and the benefits of deep tissue massage. A degree in Sports and Exercise Science from York St John followed. A desire to be hands on led to an in-depth diploma in Sports Massage Therapy with SPS Ltd.

Due to an understanding that some people were missing out on the benefits of massage, by not classing themselves as ‘sporty’, Beth has branched out in to No Hands Massage so as to reach a wider population with the benefits of touch.

Beth’s qualifications include:

  • BSc Sport and Exercise Science
  • Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy
  • No Hands Transforming Touch
  • No Hands Practitioner.
  • First Aid
  • Swimming Teaching

“After gaining my degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2003 at the University of York St John.  I developed an interest in the hands-on world of Sports Massage and how it can aid athletes in achieving their goals. I qualified as a Level 4 Sports Massage Practitioner in 2005 with SPS Limited. Since then I have been helping people feel like themselves again.

In 2007 I added to my abilities by becoming a No Hands Massage Practitioner. This is a relatively new form of massage developed by Gerry Pyves”. To find out more visit the No Hands Massage page.
